ENTRY INTO THE REGISTER OF BIRTHS IN THE MUNICIPALITY AND INTO THE REGISTER OF CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC

The undermentioned documents are required in order to enter the birth of children born in the United Kingdom into the Register of Births in the appropriate Municipality and into the Register of citizens of the Republic:

1. two copies of the completed forms for registration;
2. "Full Birth Certificate" certified by an Apostille and translated into Serbian;
3. certificate of citizenship for parents and their passports;
4. Marriage Certificate (if the marriage was contracted in the United Kingdom, the information of registration through this Embassy or a certificate regarding paternity, if the marriage has not been contracted).

Consular fees amount to GB£ 137.00

REGISTRATION OF MARRIAGE CONTRACTED IN THE U.K. WITH THE REGISTRAR IN SERBIA AND MONTENEGRO

In order to register a marriage contrracted in the U.K. with the Registrar in Serbia and Montenegro the following documents would be required:  

1. the original Marriage Certificate, certified with an Apostille and translated into the Serbian language;
2. the completed form and declaration regarding surname.

The original documents are sent to the Registrar in Serbia and Montenegro and will not be returned.
